Bill, K7UTX, is bringing a truckload of late-model HAM gear to this Friday’s Meeting (Mar 11th).

All gear is deeply discounted for Club Members, before being sold off on E-Bay.

1.  ICOM 718 160-10m HF radio.  This unit is ANIB (As New in Box) as I purchased it two years ago, plugged it in to check it out and then re-boxed it as I had already purchased another radio that I was very comfortable with.  I decided to keep it as a ‘backup’ but since I now have three primary radios, I don’t think I really NEED a fourth!  This unit sells at HRO currently for $599.95.

2.  ICOM PS-125 Power Supply (13.8V 25A).  This unit was purchased with the ICOM 718 and used for less than an hour, just like the radio.  This unit sells at HRO currently for $399.95.

I will sell these two items together, which list for $1,000.00, plus shipping, to a club member for $500.

3.  ICOM Desktop Microphone SM-50.  This is NIB (New in Box) or would be if I still had the box!  This sells at HRO for $269.95 plus shipping.  I will sell it for $125.00 to a club member.

4.  Palstar AT-2k 2000W Antenna Tuner.  This, too, is NIB but without the original box.  I purchased this item early on thinking I would use a manual tuner but all of my radios have great tuners built into them.

This unit sells new for $599.95 plus shipping.  I will sell it to a club member for $350.

5.  SGC 230 Smartuner.  This is a very lightly used unit that I had installed outside my shack for about six weeks with a wire antenna.  As I changed to different antennas and radios very early on, this unit has been sitting in my ham shack ever since.

This unit sells new for $595 plus shipping.  I will sell it to a club member for $300.

6.  MFJ 259B Antenna Analyzer.  This is another lightly used unit.  I have another analyzer that I use more often so this item is open for sale.

This unit sells new for $289.95 from MFJ plus shipping.  I will sell it to a club member for $150.

7.  Kenwood R-2000 Shortwave Receiver.  I purchased this SWR new in 1984 for $495 just prior to our moving to Europe for a few years.  I used it primarily to listen to the BBC World Service so I could hear some (British) English for a change from my daily Dutch work world.  I still have the original manual but not the box.  This is an excellent shortwave receiver that is still in use around the world.  In great condition.

I will sell this to a club member for $95.

8.  C.Crane Company Point-to-Point Wi-Fi Bridge with two 14dbi 2.4GHz wi-fi antennas.  This kit is NIB.  Crane supplies very high quality wi-fi bridge kit that purports to provide, with the two antennas, connections up to 3mi.  I had planned to use this between my main house and ham shack but decided to have a DSL link put in instead.

10.  Ground Braid Strips from Cable Experts.  I have three NIB braided ground ‘cables’ (flat) that are 1″ wide.  Two units are 10 feet long and one is 5 feet long.  These sold new from HRO for $25.95 each for the 10 foot and $21.95 for the 5 foot unit.  I will sell each of these to a club member for $15 each.

11.  Diamond Antenna UHF/VHF Model MX324 2m/220/440 Antenna Triplexer.  This item is NIB and sells from HRO for $89.95 plus shipping.

I will sell this to a club member for $50.

12.  Lowrance GlobalMap 540c Baja GPS.  (Not really radio gear but great for that mobile ARES vehicle! 🙂  This is a large screen, ruggedized color GPS designed to withstand the rigors of off-road racing vehicles, in particular those that run the Baja.  It is completely NIB and comes with the MapCreate software with U.S. Topo Maps (a $100 add-on originally).  I purchased this 3.5 years ago intending to put it in a Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser that I was restoring.  I sold the restored Land Cruiser before I ever installed the GPS.
